ASW Racing have been gearing the off-road passion for more than 30 years. With a love for off-road style, brothers Paulo and Dimas Mattos didn’t realise that they would turn 1986 into a historic year for Brazilian motocross when they created ASW – AERO Sport Wear. With a strong vision and will to succeed, the brothers put their dreams into practice, and today ASW is the #1 Brazilian offroad brand. With dedication and a vision driven by history and values, ASW Racing reflects the focus and professionalism of it’s founders.

In 1986 the dream of the Mattos brothers became a reality as they begin production of off-road gloves with one seamstress and a secretary. The brothers' brand gradually built popularity among riders and Aero Sport Wear was moving forward fast.

In 1991 ASW Racing participated in its first motorcycling and cycling convention in Sao Paulo, and in the same year both Paulo and Dimas Mattos featured in the Pacaembu Stadium Supercross Race. This was the first Brazilian race held in a soccer stadium.

In 1997 ASW Racing Developed their first National helmet. Through continuous testing by professional athletes, the first ASW Racing helmet was constructed from fibreglass and carbon fibre; meaning it was lightweight, extremely durable and ahead of its time.

In 2003 the ISDE was held in Brazil for the very first time, at Porto das Dunas, Fortaleza (ceara – Brazil),
ASW Racing was proud to be the official Brazilian Enduro team kit supplier. 

2004: Antonio Balbi Jr. became the first Brazilian rider to score points in an AMA Outdoor National in the USA. With this, Balbi made his dream come true with dedication, hard work and the passionate support of ASW Racing.

The 2007 MXON at Budds Creek saw the Brazilian team qualify as one of the top 20 teams in the world with all three riders equipped with ASW Racing clothing and protection.

2012 saw Felipe Zanol achieve an unprecedented victory in the Rally dos Sertoes and with a top ten finish in the Dakar Rally. Felipe took victory once again in the EFX Pacato de Enduro FIM Cup. 2012 was a great year for ASW.

2017 Red Bull Romaniacs. In addition to several national titles, the 20 years old pilot Bruno Crivilin, was crowned champion in the silver category in one of the hardest enduro races of the year.

In 2018 the expansion movement of ASW Racing as an international Brazilian brand is continuous. The company, which has a long tradition of supporting the presence of Brazilian athletes in international competitions and has presence in various parts of Latin America, is now the official sponsor of the English Motocross team Kawasaki’s Dixon Racing Team. Development and passion, exciting new horizons are evolving for ASW Racing. 2018 will see the brand officially enter the blue ribbon MXGP series. Now, ASW Racing gear is available for distribution within the EMEA territory, and with it’s unique passion for the sport, ASW Racing is breaking territorial barriers.

2019 ASW Racing wins first MXGP Womens Championship with Courtney Duncan on the Dixon Kawasaki KX250f.

Late 2019 ASW Racing hits South African shores with MX Gear and Protective Wear, MTB and Adventure Bike Gear will follow in 2020.
